Sheryl A. Aker, 55, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly in her residence Tuesday August 14, 2012. She was born June 21, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Raymond and Mildred (Lance) Bolton.
Sheryl was a member of Southgate Baptist Church. She loved being with her three grandchildren and all of her surrounding family. She enjoyed walking, working in the yard, cooking and her dog Meggie.
Survivors include her husband Gregory Aker; two sons, Matt and Tricia Aker, Scott and Olivia Aker all of Springfield; father, Raymond Bolton of Dayton; brother, Dennis (Denise) Bolton of Dayton; sister, Vicki Bolton of Dayton; three grandchildren, Camren, Carson and Griffin. She was preceded in death by her mother Mildred Bolton and a brother Steven Bolton.
Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday August 17, 2012 at Southgate Baptist Church, 2111 South Center Blvd. with Pastor Eric Mounts officiating. -
