We have lost our heart of soul of the class of 1975...Wendi was so giving and would do anything for anyone. She was so amazing and outgoing and never slowed down except to help someone in need. Tom and Wendi were neighbors at one time and I would see the gatherings they would have for her students to encourage them all to do well in school and in life...I am truly lost for words on how to express my sorrow for her family who will have to carry on without her until they all meet again in heaven. They are all spritually very strong and I know they will endure the journey having been raised in a very blessed family...My family and I will miss you Wendi.....YOU WERE THE BEST OF CLASS!!!!
Although having moved away from Ohio after college I only tended to see Wendi and Tom at our reunions, I agree that Wendi was the driving force of our class! She had so much energy, and most importantly, a warm and ready smile for everyone. She always made sure to come around and engage everyone in conversation at our get togethers, so that nobody felt left out. The whole way the reunions were organized was very thoughtful and inclusive of those with different interests and income levels. We will all miss her dearly - gone far too soon. My heart goes out to her family and friends, as they now have such a huge loss. Wendi always cheered us all on!
You can never say too much about the good Wendi not only did but WAS. Having left the state soon after high school and only two years ago finally making it to a '75 reunion, I found everything about Wendi to be warm, kind, accepting, interested; in a nut shell, a person of great faith and love. There is no way this side of eternity to grasp the why of "our" loss of Wendi. Words cannot begin to describe the pain, loss and sorrow at such a seemingly untimely death as Wendi's. And I am not one to say I have any answer at all. But I hold fast to the knowledge that God in Heaven does have Wendi and her family close to His heart. And I also believe we will one day see Wendi again...Blessings to the Kirsch and Williams families.
